When it comes to celebrity dog-parenting skills, Oprah Winfrey is tops and Britney Spears is the world's worst, according to an online vote by readers of two dog magazines.
'Britney was the overwhelming choice' for worst celebrity dog owner for 2006, Hilary O'Hagan, editor of The New York Dog and The Hollywood Dog magazines, said in a statement.
'She once had three Chihuahuas ... and never left home without at least one of them on her arm,' O'Hagan said. 'As soon as she met K-Fed and had kids, they (the dogs) disappeared.'
Spears has filed for divorce from aspiring rapper Kevin Federline. The 25-year-old pop singer and Federline, 28, have a 1-year-old son, Sean Preston, and a 3-month-old son, Jayden James.

How the tide has turned – now it's Britney who's getting booed and K-Fed, or something like him, eliciting cheers.
The exhibitionist pop star was among the fans at last night's Lakers-Wizards game at L.A.'s Staples Center, attending with sister Jamie Lynn and agent Jason Trawick. When Brit's face popped up on the Jumbotron, according to a TMZ spy in attendance, the entire crowd booed loudly, making Britney so mad that she left even before halftime.
To add insult to injury, the image of a K-Fed-alike graced the Jumbotron shortly thereafter, and the crowd actually cheered. Fellow celeb-fans Chris Tucker, Ellen Pompeo, Andy Garcia, and, of course, Jack Nicholson, stayed around to watch an overtime thriller.
She's a woman of many moods: A conservatively dressed Britney Spears buttons up as she attends an L.A. Lakers home game on Sunday. On Friday, she dons a barely-there lace ensemble for a night of clubbing with pals in L.A.
Is Britney's style more consistent than we've realized? We've been busy concentrating on her ever-evolving hair -- short, long, blodne, brown -- but Britney's lacy mini-dress from this weekend looked awfully familiar. The pop princess wore a similar Dolce & Gabbana mini, showcasing her undies and toned tummy, to the VMAs all the way back in 2001. Is this just a case of the more things change, the more they stay the same? We continue to be impressed with her post-baby body, but we certainly prefer her covered up look.

So, the other day I made a comment saying how similar the black lace dress Britney wore for her mother's birthday looked to her dress from the 2001 VMA's. I guess I wasn't the only one who thought so! Regardless, ya gotta admit these two dresses look insanely alike...except I still believe the one from the VMAs is royal blue...not black. Or is it just my eyes? Hehe. *-*
From ex-ing Federline to panty gate, Britney Spears gave the world something else to talk about over the weekend as she stepped out in lace.
The pop princess caused a flashbulb frenzy when she met mom, Lynn, and baby sister, Jamie Lynn, in Los Angeles Saturday night, wearing barely there lace and providing full exposure of her black panties and hot pink bra.
ritney barely made it through the mob scene on her way out, escaping the shutterbugs before making an appearance again on Sunday night at the LA Lakers home game.
While Brit sported much tamer attire Sunday, she was still showing some skin in a cleavage baring shirt and skin tight jeans.
Britney kept the family weekend going strong, bringing her sister courtside with her. But the duo wasn’t without company --Brit’s new mystery man, whom “Extra” discovered is her manager, Jason Trawick, also joined the Spears sisters for some basketball fun.
However, the trio didn’t stay for long.
According to TMZ.com, Britney and company left just before half-time after she was booed by the jam-packed arena when she appeared on the Jumbotron.
To make matters worse, when a picture of K-Fed appeared moments later, the crowd actually cheered. What’s up with that?
Sunday there was no time for promoting perfumes or dancing. Britney got her game on, watching the Lakers play the Washington Wizards with Trawick and Jamie-Lynn at the Staples Center.
