I've never written to you in english before and I don't intend to do do it
again. The reason I'm doing this is that I feel that I've got something
important to say....
Today is Christina vs Britney day on MTV in Europe. I didn't notize it until 4
in the afternoon, but when I finally did it made me do some thinking.
I am 26 years old and "way to old to be a Britney-fan", but I am. A big one! In
the middle of the night, MTV sent "Britney Diary" from 2001. I've seen it
before, but when I watched it Today iT made me thinking. It made me admire this
girl so much more then before. In the summer of 2001, she was still JustIns
girlfriend and all of us could see that he made her so happy. When she did talk
about their relationship she gave her whole heart to the world. And what did he
give her in return? I don't care if Britney was cheating on him, but the guy
needs to show her some respect. Even if she did betray him in the worst of ways,
there's no need for him to humiliate her in front of the whole world.
I don't think Britney is a bad person. I think she is an ordinary southern girl,
maybe a bit naive but not stupid. When I saw "Briney Diary" today, it made me
realize that she's not the girl that have been in the press during the last
year. She isn't that cheating babe, she isn't that stupid girl that does what
everybody tells her. She is a performer and that's what she's here to be - a
girl that gives us our joy, our entertainment and her music.
Fot the last year, I've been sending pics to Ruben. I have a job that gives me
access to some really big image archives. I will keep sending these pics. I will
keep telling all my friends that Britney will strike back in 2003, beacause I
know she will - She is an artist, she is a performer and she is a good and
honest girl who loves her fans. I honestly believe that ,and I hope you do too.
Have a nice 2003 and let's look forward - Britney has a lot more to give
