On my local radiostation website (kiss108.com), I found this in today's news. You know, I did like Avril when she first arrived on the scene, and I do listen to her songs on the radio, but it really peeves me when artists badmouth other artists, as Avril has done about Britney. Anyway FYI...
Avril: I'm Still A Child
Teen idols Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera have left behind their old images for a more adult look - but Canadian starlet Avril Lavigne is happy being a child.
The 18-year-old brunette refuses to dress in skimpy outfits and use her sexuality to sell records, because she is believes she is too young.
Avril says, 'I don't want to be considering officially as a grown-up. I want to enjoy myself, have a good time and do silly things now and then.
'I am anxious to remain a teenager. That is the only time of your life when you can do the most stupid things and still be forgiven, because you are still a kid. I think the idea of becoming an adult frightens me.'
