*NSYNC frontman Justin Timberlake has
attacked his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears for making her debut movie Crossroads
- insisting she should never have starred in it.
The 21-year-old pop hunk, whose romance with the curvaceous blonde dissolved
earlier this year, admits that despite his praise for Britney's involvement in
the film at the time of its release, he always knew it wasn't the right
movie for her.
He says, "If she had a clue, she wouldn't have made that movie.
"I mean everybody knows that what she should have made was Pretty In Pink."
Timberlake, who makes the comments in the December issue of Details Magazine,
goes on to blame the 20-year-old singer's handlers for pushing her
into a project with a "sub-par" plot.
He also says that some of the people who work for her are out for themselves,
branding them a "soap opera/horror movie."
