Justin Timberlake cried himself to sleep after breaking up with Britney Spears - and has written a snarky new song to get even.
In an unusually frank, hour-long interview tonight with Barbara Walters, Timberlake even performs the song - called 'Horrible Woman.'

The song isn't included on Timberlake's new CD, 'Justified,' his first solo project outside of boy band *NSYNC, and he won't say if it's directed at Spears - but it sure seems to be.

'So, you had your chance to be my lover.

I guess you needed something more undercover,' he sings.

'And you know that ain't cool.

So let's skip the drama,

call your momma

and tell her she better just come get you

'cause frankly, baby,

you ain't worth the gas in my BMW.'

Timberlake won't say if the couple's breakup was caused by Spears' cheating on him, as has been reported.

'Honestly, I mean, you know, we're not perfect,' Timberlake tells Walters.

'I don't judge anybody. It's just young love,' Timberlake says. 'It was a very intense relationship - that's for sure.'

Yes, Walters asks him, but does he think they will ever get back together?

'That's so tough to say,' he answers. 'I mean, at this point in my life, if you really want to know who my girlfriend is, it's the 13 songs on that CD.'

Timberlake says he wants to bring home a girl just like his mother, Lynn Harless - who's also his manager and who sat with Justin and Walters throughout the interview.

'Somebody like her [his mother],' he says when asked. 'Somebody that understands me, somebody that understands the things that I go through, uh, in my career.

'We're best friends,' he says of his mother. 'My mother has been there so much for me, and has helped me level things out when things got crazy.'

Timberlake also addresses rumors of *NSYNC calling it quits.

'I don't think so,' he says. 'I would like to [make another album with the group]. Yes.

'When I decided to do this album, for instance, I went and I talked to each of [the band members] individually. You know, it wasn't like they called a meeting . . . [But] it's important to me that I have their support.'

Tonight's Walters/Timberlake interview airs 8 P.M .
