Britney Valentine aka Kody who's been impersonating Britney Spears for the past couple of months in both straight and gay night clubs in New York City finally got to meet Britney Spears today. Kody has been on TRL and is also featured in the upcoming MTV special Britney Spears: Fanography, a joint production with MTV and Think Huge Prod. in California. Kody is a 19 year old guy and comes from Texas, he recently moved to NYC to pursue acting and is hoping to get into showbiz.

Here is his story:

Today was the day I've been waiting for since I was a little pre-teen in Hurst,Texas... today... I met... BRITNEY SPEARS!

After 4 long years of following her career and a year of being her... I finally met her, and let me tell you...she is sooo sweet!!! I walked in to Nyla today at 1:45 after hearing, from a good source - who I had met at the HX party that was held there the night before, that Britney was going to be having lunch today. I entered the restaurant and sat at the bar. Directly to my right… in plain view… were Britney and her little sis Jamie Lynn. They were with dome friends and her bodyguards of course. I kept glancing up from my drink at the bar to get a peak at her actions and mannerisms. (she really is as goofy as she is on tv – she was laughing and playing around a lot!) She finished eating and her and her sis got up to use the bathroom. A body guard in front...a bodyguard in back... they headed to the door and passed right by me! My nerves got to me and I didn’t say anything to her…

After a second “Kody” kicked in… I followed them towards the bathroom and I gave the bodyguard a pic of me as “Britney” that I had signed for her. He said he would give it to her when she came out. I said thanks and went back to the bar.

Two minutes later I get a tap on my shoulder…. It’s Britney herself! She said, “Is this you?” pointing to the pic of me in costume, “you look beautiful!!” My heart nearly stopped… Britney Spears thought I was beautiful!! Wow!

We ended up talking for a couple of minutes. She asked what I did exactly and how long I’ve been doing it, and where I performed. I asked how she’s been doing and it was like talking to a friend… she was very sweet and just very real. It was soo cool. Then I asked if I could have my picture with her.

When we had our arms around each others waist in front of the stair case at Nyla… I whispered to her… “I’ve been waiting for this day for four years… thank you for being you.” She smiled, and then her body guard Big Rob snapped the pic.

She gave me a hug and then her and her entourage left the building… I went back to my smoked salmon at the bar… What an amazing day?!?! Who knows...if I make the REAL WORLD…she might be like…omg...I met that guy!! Haha wouldn’t that be a funny turn of events? All in all it was the best meeting I could have hoped for… it blew away all the other preconceptional meetings I had fantasized about. I’m still in shock.

Kelly Clarkson puts it well, “Some people wait a life time, for a moment like this. I can’t believe it’s happening to me…”
