After
becoming the first artist in the history of MTV to take home all 4 awards she
was nominated for in all Pop categories at the MTV European Music Awards 1999,
Britney had a performance next day on Germany's well known Wetten Dass show.
Little did she know that everything was going to go wrong. The first minute of
the performance the microphone didn't work, and once it did, she got her boa
entangled in the mic cable and it looked as if she was carrying a tail. Britney
continued the performance professionally and nothing was mentioned in regards to
it at the interview after the performance. This took place in November 1999.
