Ouch, our bandwidth overages for August was $276.49 and I can't let this happen again, so I've taken off all the multimedia that's been offered on the site for the past days and just kept the Start of an Era video up. I will also get an anti-leech script because some sites seem to be direct linking to our videos which is not good. I just want to make clear that all videos under updates won't be available for more than 24 hours after they are posted, which is why it's important for you to check the site regularly so that you don't miss a cool video, I keep getting E-mails from people telling me how they did not have time to download the video because they weren't home, unfortunately there is nothing I can do about this, you just have to be here.
Also, a very important thing, some people can't watch the MPEG videos because of a problem with Real Player, first of all, Real Player is not supposed to play MPEG files, but when it installs it basically steals all your media extensions cause Real Networks feels like having monopoly over all of your multimedia, which sucks. MPEG videos are to be seen with Windows Media Player, so if you have the problem with Real Player, here is the solution:
Open up Windows Media Player and then go to Tools and then Options. Click on File Types and make sure that only Media Player can play MPEGs. Then click Apply and then OK. So now go to Realplayer and go to Tools and then Preferences. Click on Media Types and then make sure that the boxes that say MPEG are all unchecked. Also, whenever you download an MPEG video, make sure you save it into your hard drive first, by right clicking with your mouse on the link and choosing 'Save As'.
