Amazing business strategy, barely seen anything
like it. Let's say, you want to start up a new company on the Internet, it's
about making prank calls to celebrities, and what you want to do is sell each
prank call to radio stations worldwide. They know that promotion is extremely
expensive, so what do they do, well, they use a golden number, golden, cause
just wait what's coming next. They call Britney up.......they make a successful
prank call, and they tell the press about it. In as little as 24 hours, you'll
have every newswire from Reuters to TT syndicating what you did and publishing
the URL of your website where this prank is offered, OMG, that just saved them
thousands of dollars in advertising, how easy........and all they needed to do,
was putting a name like Britney Spears and mix it in the equation.
I got in touch with them last night cause I wanted the prank for you all to
hear, and I certainly didn't want to pay the $199 they're charging for a license
to broadcast, I offered them advertising on WoB in return, since I know WoB is
visited by so many radio stations across the US every day. They told me that
they were up for it, yet they didn't want it published on a website cause there
were ways of copying the audio and having illegal copies go around (even if I
would have offered it only as streaming), BUT, they told me to get back to them
in one week and see if we could working something out, so yeah, hopefully I'll
cut some sort of a deal with them.
For now, there are 2 samples from the prank and that's all that's available for
now.
