Mariah Carey was recently on
99.1 , a radio station in California. Here is a trascript from the
conversation:
CALI DJ: "So the question everyone wants to know, Christina or Britney?"
MARIAH: "I'm so feeling Britney right now, she's powerful, she's
captivating, and she knows how to rock the house, I saw her Oops Tour stop
in New York and her Dream tour in Tampa, and she blew the house down in both
shows. I was visiting Disney World around the time the concert was to be
around, so I wandered on over and they let me in. Her stage antics are very
powerful and energetic, and I was impressed that with all of the moving
around she did,her voice was able to keep a great composure. Oh, and for
those who wonder, she does not lipsync her concerts, so I'll put that rumor
to rest right this second. Respect people!"
MARIAH: *laugh*
CALI DJ: "So do you have a Britney favorite?"
MARIAH: "Actually I love a lot of the material she sings, but I would have
to say that her Stones cover is amazing. If I had to pick one from her new
album, I would say Slave For You, simply because it's fresh, hip, and to the
point."
CALI DJ: "You wouldn't have a biased towards it, being that your old record
labels seem to be treating you like one, would you?"
MARIAH: "Um...no of course not...they're the last thing I worry about"
CALI DJ: "And about Jennifer Lopez..."
MARIAH: "Stop right there, don't say another word about the queen of
fakeness...moving right along..."
