Hey Everyone,
I have a few things to talk about right now. First off the site, I have received dozens of emails stating WoB lacks negativity. I think that’s crazy, it’s as if you want a fan site to be negative, I don’t think that makes sense at all, I understand you want to hear the bad things and lies being said about Britney, which I do post, but when the lies become ludicrous and become this huge ordeal I’m not going to associate this site with that trouble and behavior! I post the things that might be true and might not be, but those are little things, I’m not going to fuel the fire and post these HUGE lies and fabricated stories about Britney, I don’t even like to post the little things because it just turns into something bigger and I don’t like to be apart of it. But, I have to deal with it for you fans. I just won’t step into the line of fire with these absurd stories. I just don’t really get the fact on how WoB is a fan site but you want us to be negative and post these hurtful and demeaning lies about Britney, I don’t think she’d like that one bit. So I do what I do and if you don’t like the fact that I don’t post these crazy accusations then I’m sorry. Because I write to you fans, that doesn’t mean I’m writing about my personal life, I’m writing about Britney to YOU.
For the fact that Britney dyed her hair brown, what the hell does that have to do with anything, is she not allowed to dye her hair? Is that against the rules? People need to get over themselves and come to the terms that if anyone wants to dye THEIR own hair that’s on their head they don’t need to ask for permission or approval. For those who say brown hair means crazy Britney is back, why do you even come to a fan site, it’s like you can’t be a half-fan. You may think in your head that you can be but that’s no how it works, I think you should be worried if she died her hair purple or green, not brunette. It’s her natural hair color, and even if it wasn’t it doesn’t make a friggin difference. People need to find something else to do with their life.
About Jason Trawick, Britney Spears’ TV AGENT, how can you call him a bum, or a user? He works, he’s not calling others bums and sitting on his computer commenting about Britney going crazy and Britney dating someone, if the woman wants to date she can date. No one but Britney & Jason know if there relationship is profession or personal, and if it’s both who cares, is Britney suppose to be alone forever? Being a fan all I care about is that she’s happy with whatever she does in her life, career wise and relationship wise. Because Britney is hanging out with him means nothing, they can be friends, Britney can have male friends, and because they go to the pool or tan together outside means nothing! And if they are dating then so be it, big F-ING DEAL, maybe if you people who worry so much about Britney dating Jason got off the computer and went outside, maybe you’d find a bf/gf! God give me a break, it’s always something. About Britney using a public gas station bathroom, grow up and get a life, you act like you don’t use a public restroom! Can we go one week without complaints!

Some very good points here. However, let me just remind you that this is a fan site and they should be allowed to express their opinions as long as they aren’t offensive right? So if someone doesn’t like the darker hair (myself being one of them) then this is the place that they should be able to express that. A fan can not like something their idol does and express that; it doesn’t make them any less of a fan. If anything, it makes them more so because they have an opinion and are paying attention. I agree with most of what you said, but I do think you might be taking some of it too personally (though I can also understand that after tons of insultive emails/comments). Thanks for the good work and keep on doing what you’re doing.
Who gives a crap about the people hating. I’m glad you guys don’t post the negative stuff or rumors about Britney. I would stop coming here if you did cuz I don’t wanna read that stuff!
Ya can’t please everyone. There are other fan sites if someone doesn’t like this one. You need to learn to just over look what people say and just post what you feel needs to be posted about Britney.
agree with you! i’m glad to see her happy and smiling, i’m going to see her during her paris gigs, so see her healthy and enjoying means everything! Fansite must be serious, overwise like you said a little sentence can be big in the end. I don’t understand how people can spread their plague on these woman. Like you said go out!

i get teased constantly because of my huge love for her, i have followed her as a true fan through everything! EVERYTHING! Always sayin, “she’ll come back” when no one else was!
But I don’t like that hair color on her! So sue me? Doesn’t mean i’m a “half fan”. I don’t have to be in love with everything she does. I’m an honest fan. When she does great, I promote her to no end. When she doesn’t do great (gimme more mtv awards) I say, well, that wasn’t good, but she’ll get it together, she’ll rise again.
furthermore, you posted the photo and said “what do you think?”. So are we only supposed to post what we think if its in accordance with what you think? Seriously lame. And now you’re saying “People need to find something else to do with their life”. But you asked the damn question! Now you’re getting all worked up that some people expressed their feelings on her haircolor which is so trivial and petty in the first place.
I really appreciate what you guys do on this site. i go to it everyday and this is my first real complain about the site.
i love britney SO MUCH, i have her photos professionally framed and on my wall in my bedroom for christ sakes. I am NOT a HALF FAN. I am a 100% FULL FAN who is HONEST when asked a question about her appearance, yet will stand by her through basically anything, especially something as frivolous as a dye job. thank you very much!
its just fuckin hair. she will go back to blonde, as i hope she does, and she still looks good, i will take brunette britney over no britney ANYDAY

Good for you Steven! Why would people want to visit a negative Britney “Fansite” you can always visit BH if you want that kind of drama. What do these people want you to do/say, Oh Britney dyed her hair brown she crazy y’all? would that make them happy and what would be the purpose . Stick to what you are doing the haters can go somewhere else.
(Plus they can always talk shit in the forum if they want to create drama/negativity)
Another thing hasnt the death of Michael Jackson taught us anything, when we focus on the negative we forget why we love them in the first place.

I love all major britney fansites and the only complain i have is that they have exclusives but cannot share for legal reasons but regardless i love this site!

I completely understand where you are coming from steven but, everyone is allowd to share their own opinion. people who have been members of BH since it opened are accustomed to a different kind of site, the drama is, although obnoxious and fustrating, alluring at the sametime. although I absolutley hate BH, jordan keeps ppl interested by including his own opinion and his own personality into the site. its just a suggesstion but if you wrote a paragraph or two like this weekly about brit and her life then that would be cool. I just as everyone else, am a dedicated fan (not since the 90’s i’ll admitt but for a while). this is a great site and just b/c you get a few negative emails doesnt mean this site is bad, and it doesnt mean you need to get all defensive. just sharing your opinion on this site (not in an anti-jamie, false news, drama filled way like BH) will change some peoples opinions ( i think). well i for one love this site and britney
i just wanted to say thath i agree with the points that are mentioned …. we hear enough of negative things about britney in the media. so i thing its kinda relaxing to have a fansite about britney without all these bad rumors and of course we as the fans should be able to say our opinions about britneys hair but of something like that but a real fan doenst care about the haircolor as long our britney is happy …the same with jason . if he is good for her everything is good and by the way i dont think that we know him, so we´re not allowede to judge hin for things that may be not true

Steven, for all the work you do for this site, you do just as much complaining. Please understand that you can’t please everyone. And if people complain or send hate mail about the pictures or lackthereof, just ignore it. You contradict yourself SO MUCH. You say that a person can’t be a “half fan,” yet you also say you’ll post “little lies” because apparently, to you, negativity is relative. You also say, ” I think you should be worried if she died her hair purple or green, not brunette. It’s her natural hair color, and even if it wasn’t it doesn’t make a friggin difference.” Purple and green obviously aren’t her natural hair colors, so you say it shouldn’t make a difference. But in the previous sentence you say that we should worry if she dyed her hair those colors.
My point is, stop with the “State of the Nation” posts and speeches. Know that for every “hater” there are 5 more fans. If someone gets pissy with you about not posting articles or whatever, just ignore it.
And to be clear, I have no problems with this site, other than the whiny “leave me alone” posts by the webmasters. Apart from omg.yahoo.com, this is the only celebrity site that I visit. So if you choose to take my advice and ignore this comment too, fine. Just my two cents.

I am so freaking glad u said this steven and I am also a true fan and I have faith in britney and its stupid for some fans to say britney is back in her bad ways just because of the color of her hair and I think it looks good on her and it pissed me off when they comment something like that and I’m glad there are some true fans on the site including you,STEVEN and the fans that are being positive!! Steven, I think you guys are doing a great job! I used to visit Breatheheavy everyday, but I replaced it with WOB mainly b/c I was tired of all the negativity on BH. You guys are a true Britney FAN site. Don’t listen to the haters…they will always be there. Just keep doing what you’re doing!

Ive been a loyal britney fan since she first started and have been coming to WOB since it first started. And I am proud of this site more than anything for being a true britney site and delivering britney news as quickly as promised. I think you guys are doing a fantastic job. There will always be haters around, that just means WOB and Britney are succeeding cause both of them have haters. Keep up the good job, I love this site and will continue to go here!

Steven, ignore the comments about not posting negative news about Britney. After all, there hasn’t been any for a very long time.
On the Jason side of things, so many tabs and gossip rags have leaped to the conclusion that Britney is dating him. Bullshit. There is absolutely NO NO NO evidence that they are dating or intimately involved beyond a five year friendship. There are sightings with them together, in recent weeks frequently. That doesn’t mean shit. There is no PDA. Britney will be dating Jason when Britney SAYS SHE IS DATING JASON, NOT BEFORE.
He is ten years older than her, not at all attractive, and nothing close to a hunk. She could have the best – and it’s time to go for it. He isn’t it.
What has happened to this site???? It really is breatheheavy.com 2.0. Its a fansite with a webmaster who thinks a little too highly of himself. No one cares. If you dont like the mail your getting (however annoying it might be), then quit. If you cant take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Or better yet….IGNORE IT! You’re afansite. People are probably telling you that brunette hair means “Crazy Britney is back because, for the most part, that it is a true statement. Britney has even sad that she dyes her hair darker when she is unhappy.
And just because someone is a Spears fan but has a sense of realism and realisticness that you write off as negativity does not mean that they are a “half fan”.
